Shareef’s Grill began with a simple idea. In 2008, owner Shareef started selling Halal burgers, and Italian Ice near Masjid Ul Haqq in Baltimore. His goal was to share fresh food with the community.
A Baltimore Grill Built on Passion
Shareef followed his love for cooking and turned a small street setup into a growing business. Two years later, the first Shareef’s Grill location opened at the corner of Franklin and Carey Street. Today you can visit Shareef’s Grill at 1214 West Franklin Street, Baltimore, MD 21223, where the same focus on simple, fresh food continues every day.
Growing Across the Baltimore Community
As more guests found the restaurant, Shareef expanded the business. In 2012, Shareef’s East opened on North Chester Street. Later, a food truck was added to reach customers around the Maryland metro area. In 2015, the East location moved to Belair Road. In 2020, Shareef’s Liberty Road location opened, marking the brand’s first step into Baltimore County.
